If there is no snow, we will road bike another section of the BicyclePA "S" Route. Buckman Ski shops and REI rent cross country skis. You must call or email for start time and equipment to bring. However, whenever there is more than one inch of snow covering frozen ground locally, call or email me. An adhoc trip will be announced at that time. Saturday, February 10. 10: AM, Bike or Ski; C class ride or Novice XC-Skiing Meet in the main parking lot near the bird watching deck at Fort Washington State Park, the park is located on Route 73 West. 2 mile after Rt. 73crosses Rt. 309.Heading west, after you cross Bethlehem Pike, the entrance is 1 mile on the left. From Stenton Ave, turn right onto Joshua Road, park is on the right. SEPTA R5-Doylestown stops at Fort Washington, less than a mile north of the park.
